When registering for the competition via the Online Registration Form, payment must be made at the same time through the secure online payment system.

Bank Transfer Option 

We understand that some companies or individuals may not have, or may prefer not to use, card payment during the registration process.

We also offer the option to complete your registration and secure your participation via bank transfer.

There is no limit to how many categories you can enter. You may choose any of the award categories—or even all of them—with one or more of your brands.

Shipping Product Samples

Registration & Shipping Process

  • After the registration and payment are completed, we will provide the relevant documents, shipping details, and invoices.

  • Once registration and payment are finalized, our team will also issue the Shipping Label Form.

  • The Shipping Label – For Internal Use will be sent to participating companies by email.

  • Product samples must be shipped between February 15 and April 30, 2026.

  • If the food and beverage product samples are not sent within this timeframe, the products will not be eligible for judging.

Sample Submission Requirements

  • Please prepare and send two (2) retail samples for each entry category.

  • The samples must be submitted in the same retail packaging as marketed.

  • For the sensory analysis, please note that all olive oil samples are blind-tested by the judges.

As you prepare your product samples for submission, please follow the guidelines below to ensure that your items arrive safely and can be processed efficiently.

Shipping Instructions:

Courier Service:
Please ship your samples using a trusted local or international courier such as DHL, UPS, or DPD. This helps guarantee reliable tracking and timely delivery.

• Shipping Label:
Do not forget to attach the provided Shipping Label—designed for internal use—to your shipment. You may either stick it on the outside of the box or drop it inside the box. This label is crucial for our internal processing and tracking.

Packaging Recommendations:

• Secure Packaging:
Use a sturdy, high-quality cardboard box that can withstand transit. Reinforce the bottom of the box with extra packing tape if necessary.

• Protective Materials:
Wrap each product sample individually with bubble wrap, foam, or another protective material to prevent damage.

• Cushioning:
Fill empty spaces in the box with crumpled paper or air cushions. This minimises movement and further protects your items during transit.

• Labeling:
For fragile items, please mark the box accordingly.

Once you have dispatched your shipment, kindly forward the tracking number to us so we can monitor its progress.

We appreciate your attention to these details and your cooperation in ensuring all product samples arrive safely for evaluation.

Participants must ensure that all product samples are shipped in safe and suitable packaging. In the event of any damage, replacement samples must be resent within the specified deadlines.

Evaluation

  • Product evaluation begins March 15, 2026.

  • Results will be announced in May 2026 (exact date to be confirmed).

  • Sample submission period: February 15 – April 15, 2026.

Results Promotion

The results will be published on excellentaste.co 

Also, the results will be shared with our affiliate media partners.

Promotional Stickers will be provided to the competition winners available to be purchased online on May 1, 2026. The promotional stickers will only be allowed to be placed on the specific awarded products. A license will be provided.

For the winners who are interested to purchase our stickers, orders will be available on May 1, 2026

The official trophy for Excellent Taste Awards 2025 will be available for ordering on May 1, 2026.

The winners of Excellent Taste Awards and Mediterrnean Taste Awards  will receive a certificate in a printable, high resolution electronic only format.

Upon successful completion of the evaluation process, awarded brands will receive an electronic digital certificate in ultra-high-resolution printable format, issued by the Judging Panel of the Excellent Taste Awards.

Access will be granted to ALL NEW 2026 Excellent Taste Awards Winners in May 2026.

To help the producers with their laborious task of promoting their brands and achieving their goals, we provide the following marketing materials and solutions to the winners of the competition:

  • The official Excellent Taste Awards and Mediterranean Taste Awards badge for social media and web use
  • Different sizes of marketing posters are to be used at food exhibitions.
  • We are collaborating with the companies to create an article for our campaign, Local Taste and Local Producer. The article will be posted to our social media.
  • High resolution badges to be placed on the awarded brand. (Paid solution)
  • Official license of Excellent Taste Awards and Mediterranean Taste Awards badges. Provided in electronic format and is printed by the winner. (Paid Solution)

In May 2018, a passionate team of visionary entrepreneurs and food engineers established the Mediterranean Taste Awards, with the mission to search, discover and award the most excellent in-taste food and beverage creations.

Six years later, after our professional tasting team has tasted and evaluated over 6480 food & beverage labels, awarding over 2620 of them, the same team that has set the standards of Excellent Taste recognition in the food market is bringing something new and exciting that aims to significantly improve the position of our organisation and our partners as well.

Having in our corporate DNA the merit of change and evolution, we are boldly responding to the need for further expansion by launching in the food market the Excellent Taste Awards brand which comes as the right addition to accompanying the MTA Awards, aiming to serve our current and future food producers and partners to optimum level.  

This addition is necessary as it will allow our organisation to become more inclusive, expand geographically at a stronger pace, enhance our marketing and communication capacity, and assist us in spreading our message clearly to the global food community.

The Excellent Taste Awards and the Mediterranean Taste Awards brands will complement each other and operate as standalone award brands giving greater agility and clarity of our message globally.

Now, the food and beverage producers will have two options available depending on what fits their brand and business needs. On the other hand, our organisation will be able to respond and pass their message more strongly and directly, opening new window opportunities for all.

During the last six years of operation, our award organisation has become synonymous of excellence and transparency. It is the top destination among food and beverage producers who wish to underline and prove the excellent taste characteristics of their food creations.

The Excellent Taste Awards is our general – broad award brand and is ideal virtually for all types of food and beverages that the producers wish to register their brand for a sensory evaluation. The Mediterranean Taste Awards is likewise an excellent taste-oriented award brand. However, it is highly recommended for food and beverages, for which the producers wish to prescribe a geographical designation and character on the brand.

Producer Account

Having completed the evaluation process of the registered food products by our highly qualified chefs and business executives, the awarded brands will be granted the Electronically Verified – Digital Certificate in Ultra High Resolution Printable Format by the Judging Panel of the Excellent Taste Awards.

On the Producer Account, the awarded companies will have the option to order and download:
 
#1 Purchase the official Excellent Taste Awards Stickers™
 

#2 Purchase the Badges Rights (High Resolution License)
The promotional stickers in high-resolution format can also be offered with a License option.

#3 Badges and marketing materials in web resolution are available to initiate the promotion of the award.

#4 Order the official trophy manufactured from glass and polyester fabrics. The trophy has dimensions of 24 x 5 cm and weighs 1.8 kg, including the box.

#5 Digital Certificates

By May 2026, access will be available to ALL NEW Excellent Taste Awards Winners.
